Pre K - Kindergarten
Super Sea Creatures
Faster than a speeding sea otter, more powerful than a shark - it's Super Sea Creatures! Join us to learn how sea otters, sharks, and even you can be an ocean superhero! We'll learn about these super sea creatures through exhibit visits, up close animal encounters and hands-on science activities both in and out of the classroom at this summer camp.
1st - 2nd Grade
Shark Week
Sharks might seem scary on the surface, but these fabulous fish are important for healthy ocean ecosystems. Join us for this summer camp as we dive deep into learning about shark anatomy, behavior, care, habitats, and research. We’ll meet Aquarium shark keepers and go behind the scenes of New York Aquarium shark exhibits!

1st - 2nd Grade
AquariArt
Become a scientist and an artist in AquariArt! Each day, we will use a different medium inspired by the ocean to create nature-based works of art, from seaweed pressings to sand sculptures. Join us as we explore the Coney Island beach, meet our animal ambassadors, and discover new ways to make art!
3rd - 5th Grade
Ecology Detectives
Grab your magnifying glass and detective hat! Become an on-the-scene investigator as we solve ocean mysteries. What creatures leave clues in the sand? What happens when sea otters suddenly vanish? And where in the world is that wanted whale? Help us crack the case through beach exploration, experiments, and more!

3rd - 5th Grade
Aquarium Designers
Ever wonder what goes into creating a new Aquarium exhibit? Learn about the amazing work that artists, animal experts, architects, construction workers, engineers and more do to make an aquarium exhibit come to life. Then, we’ll design, test, and build our own Aquarium exhibits!
6th - 8th Grade
SEAvengers
Our oceans are in peril and you can help! Work with marine scientists to create a research investigation centered around conservation of local NY marine species. Through art, policy, technology, citizen science, and hands-on research, we will work towards solving the problems that our ocean faces today and those in the future.
