We provide unforgettable experiences for your camper including age-appropriate, hands-on activities, up-close animal experiences, time to explore the park and tons of educational fun that builds on summer campers' innate love for our wild planet.

Pre K - Kindergarten
Artistic Animals
Discover the ocean and its Fin-tastic creatures while also developing your creative abilities! Your little one will explore the aquarium through art, play, exhibit visits and animal encounters. Each day will feature an artist and their aquatic alias to learn about life under the sea.
*This drop off camp is designed for Pre-schoolers and those entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2023. Campers must be 4 years old on or before their first day of camp. One week per camper.
1st - 2nd Grade
Spineless Wonders
Did you know most animals don’t have backbones? Journey to Spineless and see jellies swim with no brain, an octopus squeeze into a tiny cave, and cuttlefish camouflage into their background. We will meet aquarium animals, go behind the scenes, and the explore Coney Island beach to find spineless neighbors.


1st - 2nd Grade
Aqua Science
Dive into the ocean through a scientific lens! Join our team of marine scientists as we investigate different questions each day such as "What makes sea lions good swimmers?" and "Why don't all penguins live in cold habitats?" Through hands-on experiments, exhibit visits and animal encounters your camper will develop the skills to become a mini-marine biologist.
3rd - 5th Grade
Whale Tales
Go on an exciting adventure that will take you deep into the ocean to meet the incredible creatures that live there! You'll learn all about their amazing adaptations and discover the truth behind some of the most famous sea stories. Along the way, you'll meet otters, sea lions, and other marine animals that call the ocean home. Get ready to dive into the world of Whale Tales and have an adventure you'll never forget.


3rd - 5th Grade
Sea Specialties
Have you ever seen a shark walk on land? Or an octopus disappear? Join us as we investigate our ocean’s unique animals and their habitats. Through hands-on projects, animal encounters, and exhibit exploration, we’ll learn how marine animals use their extreme adaptations to survive in the ocean, past & present!
6th - 8th Grade
Oceanographer Observations
What does a horseshoe crab and a shark have in common? From plankton to whales, each day we will investigate the way the world changes and supports life. Go behind the scenes, meet new animals, and explore the Coney Island beach as we learn what makes the world go ‘round.


6th - 8th Grade
Saving Sea Life
Want to know what it takes to protect our ocean? Join us this summer to investigate the successful conservation efforts that are saving marine life in our ocean. Through hands-on investigations, debates, research activities, and animal encounters, we will discuss new ways to save endangered ocean species.

Extended Care
We offer an Extended Care add-on that runs from 3:00PM - 5:00PM. Extended Care includes fun activities, exhibit visits, and nature play exploration. Add on items such as Extended Care and additional camp t-shirts are available for purchase once you add a camp to your cart.
Accessibility
Participants in this program will spend plenty of time outdoors during a range of weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and precipitation, as well as travel over uneven, natural surfaces. Accommodations may be available. Please contact us for more information.
