Important Parking Update for Saturday, June 18th
Due to the Mermaid Parade, arrival to the NY Aquarium on Saturday, June 18th will be impacted.
Surf Avenue and other roadways are being closed by the city from approximately 10:30am until 3:30pm. This will make the parking lot for the New York Aquarium inaccessible during this time.
- If you plan to park in the lot, please plan to arrive before 10:30am.
- Please note that cars will not be able to leave the lot until approximately 3:30pm
- To avoid the inconvenience of this closure, use mass transit for morning arrival.
Alternatively, you can choose to arrive after 3:30pm.
- Your reservations will be accepted for arrival at any time on Saturday, 6/18. (Last entry 5:00pm. Park closes at 6:00pm)
- The Aquarium parking lot will be available once Surf Avenue is reopened after 3:30pm. Parking is always subject to availability, and on a first come first serve basis.

If you feel you are unable to adjust your travel plans and will not be able to make your reservation:
- WCS Members can make future reservations on the Member web portal
- Ticket buyers can reschedule by contacting onlinetickets@wcs.org with Subject: “NYA 6/18”. Be sure to include Order Number, contact email and phone, requested date/time for rescheduled visit. We will fulfill future reservations based on availability.
WCS Members who need additional assistance can contact Member Services at membership@wcs.org.
