Your school group can explore the New York Aquarium's amazing animals on a guided tour led by one of our Expedition Leader Volunteers. Your one-hour tour will touch on a variety of topics, which may include, among other subjects, classification, adaptations, habitats, biodiversity, conservation, careers, and climate change. Our collection provides very special teachable moments to solidify concepts approached in the formal classroom. When booking your tour, please let us know what will best meet your learning goals.

Explore our new Ocean Wonder’s Sharks exhibit with one of our Expedition Leaders on an inquiry-based tour through this indoor space. Students will learn through questioning & observation how sharks & other fish survive in their habitat by exploring our state-of-the art exhibit that take us deep into their world. Recommended for grades 3 and up. Only Available Sept-Mar.

Explore our Sea Cliffs & Conservation Hall exhibits with one of our Expedition Leaders on an inquiry-based tour through these outdoor & indoor spaces. Students will learn through questioning & observation how animals in marine & freshwater environments are diverse & well adapted to their unique habitats. This tour is recommended for all levels. Available year round.
