Bring the New York Aquarium to you with our Outreach Programs! One of our talented educators will lead your class on an ocean adventure from the comfort of your classroom. Programs are designed to meet appropriate learning standards in a way everyone is sure to enjoy, exploring sea life up close, meeting an ocean invertebrate, and engaging in hands-on learning and fun!

Pre-K - K Grade
TUESDAY to FRIDAY, 30 minutes
Mini Marine Biologist
Open up a world of discovery with an introduction to our favorite place, the ocean! Students will explore what the ocean is, what lives in the ocean, and how animals survive there with their unique features. Engage with animal biofacts and meet a live ocean animal.

6th - 8th Grade
TUESDAY to FRIDAY, 45 minutes
Urban Naturalist
Wildlife surrounds our city, in our waters & along our coastline. Discover with us a wild NYC through exploring biofacts and meeting a threatened local species. This program will give your students the foundation they need to become a conservation scientist in the natural habitats hidden within our urban landscape.

1st - 5th Grade
TUESDAY to FRIDAY, 45 minutes
Marine Ecosystems
Dive into an underwater adventure as we bring the wonders of the ocean to your classroom! From the mysteries of the deep to the biodiversity of coral reefs, students will learn about how animals survive in different habitats around the world. With hands on activities and the opportunity to meet a real ocean animal, we will discuss the challenges some animals face in a changing world and what we can do to help. Inspire your students with this unforgettable experience today!

TUESDAY to FRIDAY, 60 minutes
After-school Program
Submerge your students in an after-school experience tailored to you! Choose one or more of our after-school programs to learn about topics including marine ecosystems, conservation, and marine research. Multi-program (3+) discounts available.
