STEM Goes WILD! Field Days
Activities from 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Funded by a generous grant from Con Edison, STEM Goes Wild Field Days will invite students from Brooklyn-based Title 1 schools to investigate the Aquarium using science, technology, engineering, and math. Students follow a “secret map” to discover STEM challenges throughout the facility, including: hands-on exploration of animal biological artifacts; meeting a live animal up close; and going behind the scenes to observe how engineers build the marine exhibits. Classes will also receive additional resources and activities to extend the learning before and after the program!
Dates for grades K-2: Wednesday, January 10th & Thursday, January 11th 2024
Dates for grades 3-5: Wednesday, January 24th & Thursday, January 25th 2024
