The New York Aquarium can host your child’s birthday party on weekends from September through mid-June. Packages include:
Happy Hermit Crab Birthday Party, for ages 3-4 years old - Your guests will be charmed by a program featuring the crab that lives in a borrowed shell. A rhyming story, cha-cha song, costume, and live invertebrate handling will introduce the children to fascinating marine animals. Each child will also make a hermit crab craft and an animal headband.

Designed for the Deep Birthday Party, for ages 5-11 years old - How do animals breathe, move, and feed in the water? Participants are guided to the answers by one of our expert and engaging instructors. They handle biofacts such as shark teeth and whale bones, touch living invertebrates, and make Aquarium buttons and fish prints. A behind-the-scenes tour concludes this exciting program.
