Sea Change

What impact does climate change have on our friend the walrus and its marine mammal relatives? In this standards aligned program, students create class models to learn about the greenhouse effect and investigate delicate interactions between species and habitats. Through biofact exploration, exhibit observations, and kinesthetic game play, your students will come to understand the consequences of human choices for arctic species and be prompted to take action. You'll leave with all the tools and information needed to write a persuasive conservation letter to support marine mammal protection.
